Issue 01

Dear all

Firstly, I want to thank you for your patience during the process of getting Cury School ready for the pupils.

As you are aware, we have used this time to begin the process of getting to know you and the pupils, and we are really excited about our next steps.

The crux of what we are trying to achieve will be based upon building positive relationships with all stakeholders.  I'm sure there will be ups and downs, but we will always have the best interests of our pupils at heart.

You should receive daily feedback from the class teachers about the progress that your child is making, and I want to encourage an open dialogue between us.  To this end, you are always welcome to pick up the phone, drop us an email or come into the school.

I hope you all have a lovely, restful Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year.  It would be great to see you all on our informal open day  (times detailed below) on the 6th, if you are able to make it across.

Best wishes

Richard (Head of Provision)

School dinners

Cury School uses the catering service Clever Chefs to supply dinners. All food is cooked and prepared on site. Special adaptations can be made for those with dietary requirements.

If you are not entitled to free school meals, a school meal currently costs £2.65. If you wish for your child to have school meals for the week, it will cost £10.60 as you can have 5 meals for the price of 4. We are currently using Arbor for all payments.
